Perfectly f**king civil

I can't believe it took me this long to draw my absolute favorite! I think it's probably because I had to drastically readjust my vision of Ronan in the second book... In The Raven Boys we are told only that he is the tallest of the boys, has very short dark hair, straight nose and dark eyebrows. Otherwise he is just vaguely described as 'dark', which I know is meant to be about his general attitude (and also probably the color palette of his wardrobe, because seriously, Lynch, get some florals, all this black nearly killed me with boredom when it came to coloring)... but I always pictured Ronan as black. Later, when it was said that Aurora and Matthew are both blonde, I readjusted my headcanons and decided Niall Lynch was black, so Ronan is bi-racial and since we know he has blue eyes and is part Irish, my mind instantly went 'Dudley O'Shaughnessy'. An then in the secong book we are suddenly told things like "Roman nose" and "pale-skinned" and "Celtic sort", so I kind of... had to start picturing him all over again. I actually decided to re-read the books because of it. You know, get acquainted with not only white, but PALE Ronan Lynch. And what a journey it has been! This is how I picture him now.

When I thought about what should I put in the background, things like bottles of booze and molotov cocktails crossed my mind, but it didn't feel right, because we all know that although Ronan likes to present himself as the rebelious bad boy who's just too punk rock for you, the reality is very different. Ronan Lynch is, in fact, a precious little flower, so I choose the little blue flowers he took from his first dream to represent him.
